The Diocese of Rochester requires that all volunteers over the age of 18, who work with children, teens and vulnerable adults in the Catholic system or in its parishes and related ministries fulfill the following criteria:
1. Participate in or complete an in person or online a Creating a Safe Environment (CASE) Training course.
2. Complete and sign a Diocese of Rochester Volunteer Code of Conduct Form.
3. Complete the Criminal Record Check process.
4. If driving children, complete the Volunteer Driver Information Form and have driving record checked. This must be completed every year.
This is required to work with children, teens or vulnerable adults in any parish related ministries.
Additionally, all volunteers must participate in a renewal of training as determined by the Diocese of Rochester.
