Congratulations to Ashley Garcell, one of our Woodside Manor ministers, who is expecting a baby in November. She has decided to step down temporarily from ministry, but we hope to see her back in the future.
Here is an update on ministers: Caroline Thirukumaran and Betty Crowley, both St. Anne parishioners, have left the ministry. Caroline, who had just begun at The Hurlbut, is expecting their second child in June, and Betty, a long-time Sunday Nursing Home Communion Minister at Woodside Manor, has decided it is time to retire.
We welcome Lourdes parishioner Allan Brown, who will shadow at The Hurlbut in February and March.
Your new Visiting the Sick and Homebound 2015 handbook (light green) arrived in time for the evening session, but those who missed the meetings or came to the morning session need to pick up your books. They are waiting for you in church. Look in the Library at St. Anne, and on the Ministry Table under the photographs of past Pastors at the back of Lourdes church. Handouts from the meeting are included for those who missed the meeting.
